80s heartthrob, Suresh, returns to the big screen
After Suman’s successful re-entry to films through Shankar’s Sivaji, another successful actor from the 80s, Suresh, is to make his re-entry to films.
Suresh made his debut in Panneer Pushpangall - a deal that saw him being forced to turn down an offer to play the lead role in Alaigall Oyvathillai. He enjoyed significant success in the 1980s in films like Selvi and Aagaya Thaamaraigall before bowing out from the industry.
He will be playing a crucial role in Ajith’s forthcoming film Asal. He has hastened to point out that it is not a purely negative role but a role that has negative shades.
He is thrilled to make a comeback. Let us hope that this film opens new doors for him.
